¡Build Your Wealth, Mujer!

Economic security and mobility is a critical element
to making our communities thrive. Latinos now make up
18 percent of the population and represent over two trillion dollars
in buying power and Latinas are a driving force in creating
female businesses, yet the racial wealth gap threatens to impede
this growth. In 2016, the median wealth of White households was
18 times that of Latino households and $100,000 wealth gap means
that Latinos have less opportunity for economic mobility, but
My Money My Future is on a mission to change that.

Everyone in attendance will receive a free Financial 360 Guide!

Census 2020: Tu Cuentas
The census impacts every U.S. resident through political
representation and the federal allocation of funds for local programs.
Los Angeles County is the nation’s hardest-to-count because of its
high concentrations of renters, homeless people and
immigrant communities.

As the countdown begins for the 2020 Census, Angelenos need
to know what’s at stake. The information the census collects ensures
that dollars are properly distributed across communities to support
vital programs that impact education, employment, healthcare,
homelessness, housing, transportation and more.
